Throughput Maximization for the Full-Duplex Two-Way Relay System with Energy Harvesting

The full-duplex technique can improve the transmission capacity of communication systems, and energy harvesting (EH) is a promising operation to prolong lifespan wireless node by utilizing radio-frequency signals. In this paper, throughput performance two-way EH capable relay system investigated. particular, practical protocol, named time-switching-based relaying (TSR) used for decode-and-forward (DF) policy information transmission. outage probability successfully obtained, corresponding TSR protocol be derived it. function different parameters, including time-switching (TS) ratio, power allocation length time slot. Meanwhile, characterize joint scheme system, we aim find optimal achieve throughput. Due existence three variables integral form expression, an optimization difficult. However, modified simulated annealing-based search (SABS) algorithm optimize SABS overcomes being highly impacted initial point, derives solution fast. Simulation results show that analytical expression related with TS curve matches one well, which shows obtained valid. proposed could derive accurate when SNR higher than 10 dB.
